    The Heartland Fund, part of the Rural Democracy Initiative, is seeking a Program

    Manager for the Rural Youth Voter Fund. The position requires a strategic leader

    who is committed to racial justice and a thriving democracy, and prepared to

    serve a growing group of rural youth-focused grantees. They will drive the

    development of the strategy for this new rural-youth focused fund, facilitate

    grants management and reporting, and coordinate with key funding partners,

    Movement Voter Project and Clean & Prosperous America.

     

    We are looking for a collaborative team player with a track record of organizing

    young voters and demonstrated experience advancing racial justice to build

    powerful civic and political infrastructure that advances transformative solutions

    in rural communities. Rural people are among the most persuadable and least

    contacted voters of any demographic group, and their participation in voting and

    civic action would be decisive in many communities. The Rural Youth Voter Fund

    supports and expands year round civic engagement and power building in service

    of a representative, inclusive democracy and shared prosperity.

     

    Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

    The Heartland Fund, part of the Rural Democracy Initiative, is seeking a passionate and collaborative colleague to serve as our Strategic Partnerships Associate. The Strategic Partnerships Associate will join a rapidly growing new funding collaborative dedicated to rural civic engagement and climate solutions.

     

    This is an exciting and dynamic job with opportunities for advancement and leadership. The successful candidate will be well organized and highly productive, an excellent communicator and writer, and able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. We are looking for an upbeat team player who shares our vision of connecting diverse leaders and funders to build powerful civic and political infrastructure and advance transformative climate solutions and justice in rural areas.

     

    Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000

    The Rural Climate Partnership (RCP) seeks a strategic, personable and organized Program Officer or Program Manager (position depends on experience) to help build RCP’s impact creating success stories of climate leadership, advocacy, and action in rural America. This new RCP program staff will lead development of our grantee portfolio, grantmaking processes, and grantee learning and engagement, while providing climate expertise and supporting the growth of the RCP fund as a whole.

The successful candidate will be well organized and highly productive, an excellent communicator, able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. We are looking for an upbeat team player who shares our vision of empowering diverse rural leaders and building civic and organizing infrastructure to make progress on climate, economic sustainability and environmental justice.

     

    Salary range: $90,000 to $105,000 for Program Officer level; $70,000 to $85,000 for Program Manager level

    EarthGen’s programs connect current climate science with effective teaching strategies and focus on local environmental issues; they offer professional development for teachers, customizable environmental science programs for K-12 students, and resources for schools and districts to take action for sustainability and justice. Guided by a commitment to equity and justice, EarthGen prioritizes providing access to schools and communities across Washington state historically underserved by science education and disproportionately impacted by climate change.

     

    EarthGen is seeking a collaborative and strategic leader as its next Executive Director. Successful candidates will be experienced at building strong partnerships across sectors that can help the organization grow its impact across the state. They will have a deep commitment to equity and environmental justice, and be prepared to articulate and seek support for EarthGen's vision with diverse audiences across the state. They may be based anywhere in Washington State, as long as they are willing to spend time regularly in Seattle.

     

    Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000 per year
